Abstract: The term irregularity covers the variation in any measurable yam property—weight per unit length, diameter, colour, twist and strength as well as those characteristics which denote features of irregularity. The variation of weight per unit length is fundamental and it is defined as the basic irregularity and the other irregularity are dependent upon it. The parameters in drafting operation that influence limit irregularity were analyzed. In this paper, a geometric approach- the speed triangle was introduced to evaluate the mechanical limit irregularity. Two variance equations for float fiber and draft level were proposed in determining limit irregularity. From the geometrical analysis, the mechanical parameters can be optimized for minimum irregularity.

The goal of this research was to investigate the effects of printing with different thickeners on the properties of cotton fabric with reactive dyes. The woven cotton fabrics were pretreated and mesh fabrics for printing were prepared.
Printing was done on the fabrics with various thickeners, individually and in different ratios with flat screen printing method. The printed samples were then assessed for Strength, Crease recovery, Color fastness to wash and Color fastness to rubbing. Finally, after comparing the test results, it was found that the properties of the fabrics printed with thickenersin combination with sodium alginate were better than those printed with a single thickener. Abstract: The role of physiotherapy in post stroke survivors has become highly significant in relation with functional recovery that they attain after regular physiotherapy intervention in the hands of neurophysiotherapist irrespective of the approaches that they follow for the good prognosis in the affected patients. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of high performance water repellent finishes on different knit dyed fabrics. The water repellency evaluation tests and the effects of water repellent treatment towards the physical testing systems like GSM test, bursting strength test and hydrostatic head test were been studied.
The experiments were done in two parts: the first was to apply different water repellent chemicals on different knit dyed fabrics. The research work includes different chemical concentrations such as 70g/L, 90g/L and 100g/L, pick up ratio 80%, drying temperature 120°C, curing temperature 160°C and curing time 1 minute. The second part was to evaluate the water repellency by drop test and spray test. The physical properties of the fabric were determined through bursting strength test and hydrostatic head test according to the standard testing procedures.
Besides these, ISO 105-C06 and ISO 105-X12 methods were used for wash and rubbing fastness respectively. Moreover, the effects of different water repellent treated fabrics and their comparisons with different concentrations were also been studied. Neurology For Physiotherapists
The reasons for persistent disability in 10 Guillain-Barre syndrome patients were investigated. Patients were assessed between 11 and 35 months after disease onset with impairment, disability and handicap scales, a standard neurological examination and nerve conduction studies. All patients showed persistent limb weakness which affected independence in self-care in three patients and the pursuit of leisure and work activities in eight patients.
